#2018 MALIBU REDLINE DRIVER#

The Convenience and Technology Package, Driver Confidence Package I and Driver Confidence Package II are offered from LT trim onwards, offering multiple features like remote vehicle starter system, 8-inch touchscreen, automatic braking, lane keep assists, adaptive cruise control and some more driver-assistance features. The Redline Edition Appearance Package, Sport Package, Sun and Wheel Package and Leather Package are specific to the LT trim, adding elements like blacked-out styling, rear-spoiler, power sunroof, leather-appointed and heated front seats with Bose premium sound system respectively.

The Premier trim adds LED tail lamps, dual exhaust outlets, 18-inch aluminum wheels, remote vehicle starter system, 9-speaker Bose premium sound system, 8-inch touchscreen, heated and ventilated seats and wireless charging as well. The Hybrid trim offers similar features as the LT trim, adding hybrid-specific instrument console and dual-zone climate control system. The Malibu LT trim offers 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seat, SiriusXM satellite radio, outside heated and body-colored mirrors, larger 17-inch aluminum wheels, LED daytime running lamps, and ambient lighting. Chevy’s midsize sedan challenges the likes of Ford Fusion, Honda Accord, and Hyundai Sonata. The Malibu does not offer modern driver-assistance features as standard, while some of its competition do offer them. The hybrid trim is powered by a 1.8-liter engine and dual electric motors for a combined output of 182 hp. The non-hybrid trims are powered by a 1.5-liter turbo engine, while the Premier trim is powered by a 2.0-liter turbo engine. The 2018 Chevrolet Malibu is offered with multiple powertrain options, including a hybrid trim as well. The Premier trim gets a more powerful 2.0-liter turbo engine with 250 horsepower. The L, LS, and LT trims are powered by the same 1.5-liter turbo engine with 163 horsepower. Even Sandy Ridge Metallic color is added to the color palette for all the trims. However, to spice things up, Chevy offers Redline Appearance Package for the LT trim, adding blacked-out appearance. With a starting price of $21,680, Chevrolet’s midsize 4-door sedan belongs to the same generation as the 2016 model. The 2018 Chevrolet Malibu continues with similar features and specifications as the previous model year.
